I had focussed ultrasound treatment for my essential tremor at the Walton Centre in Liverpool. Mr Farah was my surgeon. I had full trust in him and found him easy to talk to. He was thorough in his examination and put me at my ease. He tested me several times during different parts of the procedure and I was comfortable throughout. After the procedure he came to the ward and talked to me and tested my balance etc. Overall the whole team were both professional and friendly and I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Farah and the rest of the team at Walton for their exceptional care.

The day I attended this clinic got better and better. I am totally impressed by the love and dedication of all the staff involved. The team explained everything to me to put me at ease. During my op I was asked all the time how I was feeling, was I warm enough. Mr Farah was outstanding everything he had said was working out fine. I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed which made my operation a great success. I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me. I am improving everyday.

I had a procedure carried out at the Walton centre in 2016. The care I received was outstanding and the surgery performed by Mr Farah was totally successful. Since the surgery I had annual MRI scans and follow up consultations and have been reassured there were no signs of a recurrence of the tumour. Based on this lasting aftercare, together with the competence and care of Mr Farah, his team and the nurses and other ward staff whilst I was an in patient, I would reassure anyone who has been diagnosed with a neurological condition that they will be in safe hands at the Walton Centre and with Mr Farah if he is appointed as their consultant.

From day one when I had my first out patient appointment right the way through to my MRI procedure I can only say that the respect and treatment I received was absolutely fantastic. Nurses, Doctors, Technicians, Hospital general staff, Anaesthetists, and anyone else I may have missed out. I have always been an NHS supporter. But this went beyond anything I could have imagined. 100% is not enough. It was much, much more. My deepest and most sincere thanks to everybody involved. I am very grateful for everything. And the success of the procedure has been life changing.
